Treatment Family traditional responsible farming methods with a diet of composts, native grasses & flora as ground cover, low water input and natural sprays for diseases. Made via a mixture of whole berry and 25% whole bunch natural vineyard yeast ferment in small open top fermenters, soft pump overs, basket pressed into seasoned 500lt French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
Vintage Great to see timely rainfall throughout the Barossa with falls being during critical times of the vines production thoughout the growing season. Great mild vintage for the Barossa allowing for flavours to slowly build with excellent acid retention to aid in the wines freshness styling DNA
Tasting Notes Perfumed violets, spice and black cherry on the nose. Blackberry and spice with super fine firm tannins on a long elegant palate. Great example of Barossa hills fruit. A lovely bistro table wine.
Story In the far reaches of the Barossa – when the sun sets, and the full moon rises, a cold calm descends on the undulating landscapes,  2 vineyards grow here in the silence of the night, nurtured by Earth’s critters and the magical moon and sunshine. This sacred ground, this mystic park, produces an exotic Shiraz that’s mouth filling, oh so plush and so perfect on a many starry moonlit night.
