Rowland Flat. 108 year old bush vines. 20% whole bunch.
Raspberry, red cherry, a little charcuterie, pepper, dried roses and a twist of orange peel. It’s medium-bodied, so fresh and bright, gentle stony tannin, clarity and cool ‘mineral’ feel, a dried herb perfume, sugared almonds, orange zest, and super length. Delightful!

There is something almost pinot-like in this beaut soft and smooth drinking red wine. Whole bunch naturally fermented and basket pressing has resulted in a wine that displays bright perfumes dominated by juicy cherry aromas. The typical rose petal grenache characters merge. The tannins are so soft, contributing to a slick and smooth velvety palate. There is a purity about this that seems to provide a direct link from vine to palate.
